Following the report of Lucena, the president Nicolas Maduro recognized the defeat of the revolutionary party during his speech to the citizenship, attributing the result to an economic war. “We take this as a slap to wake up to face the future”, explained the president.

For its part, the MUD from its center of campaign held the results of these elections with a message of its general secretary, Jesus Torrealba: “The vote managed to democratically win a Government that is not democratic. The change began in Venezuela, the agenda of the peace beated”, he said.

Meanwhile it is expected to define the 19 deputies so far are not entirely determined, of which the majority of opposing sectors are sure that they have achieved at least 113 deputies.

The MUD with these deductions would oblige the government to recognize its counterpart, find an amnesty for 75 political prisoners, approve ordinary laws, among other relevant aspects to the Nation. It will be the January 6 2016 that these new members will assume their charge on the parliament.
