This magnificent country located to the north of South America, despite the fact that does not have the four seasons, is a land of amazing natural wonders. In this territory it is possible to find beaches and islands of crystal clear waters, the highest waterfall in the world, the peak with the most amazing cable car and endless thunderstorms.

The Venezuelan territory account with beautiful beaches, many are seen in the National Park of archipelago of the Roque. This park is composed of a ligation of islands in the Caribbean Sea.

Three of these are part of the Nueva Esparta state: Margarita, Coche and Cubagua. However, some other islands are: La Blanquilla, Los Testigos, Los Frailes. Its transparent and soft waters attract tourists from all parts of the world. That splendor of the venezuelan natural greatness is remarkable in this area.

However, there is also the park Canaima. Its areas of green land and wildlife are shown in abundance. It is one of the largest in the world, consisting of rivers, valleys, mountains and plains. This natural reserve is located at the south of Venezuela, in the Bolivar state.

This is where is the famous Angel Falls, and its mountain is the highest in the territory, known as Auyan-Tepuy , with 2,400 meters of height. It should be noted that the Angel Falls has 979 meters of fall, not only is the highest waterfall in Venezuela but also in the world. The other two mountains that follow to this are: Chimata with 2,700 meters and the Roraima with 2,800 meters.

The weather phenomenon known as the lightning of the Catatumbo can also be seen in the Venezuelan territory. Its lightnings are regarded as the most fascinating electrical storm, to date, in the world. Its observation can only be done from the ground of the Zulia state.

From the Andes travel fresh winds that collide with the warm air that emerges from the Lake Maracaibo, this all happens in a forest close from the Colombian territory. As a result, in the sky the lights are reflected every night, which can last up to ten hours. Its electrical magnitude can turn on all the bulbs in Latin America.

Another of the great attractions of this amazing country is the Condor Peak, located in the state of Merida, is a mountain with a height of 4,118 meters above the sea. This peak is covered in white when there is snow in the state, usually these occur in the months of July. On the other hand, its cold climate is unchanged. It is advisable to be pretty wrapped at this height.

The view from the top is excellent. It is possible to reach it by road; however, you can also make use of the cable car, which takes you on a journey of 12.5 kilometers and has a height of 4,765 meters, making it the highest and longest cable car of the world.

    Best place I’ve been too, it has snow, deserts, beaches, jungles, all of them at the same time! and I went to all of them! I specially recomend the Amazon forest!
