A pet’s accompany is very normal in daily life. It might causes emotional well-being to the members of the family. However, having a pet takes great responsibility, as long as you have the compromise to take care of them.

Most of the time, when planning a trip, we don’t know what to do with our pet, we start asking: how to carry it out during the trip? Or what aspects should be taken into account when that moment comes? In this sense, some should be considered so you can handle this situation successfully.
It is of great relevance that your pet is identified, because in case of a loss, it would easier to find it; besides, it should have all the sanitarians and administrative vaccines put. The pet’s items, like the medical kit and medicines that it might be using, the collar, muzzle, bed, toys, etc; are of great used at the time of traveling.
If you are planning of travel abroad, get information in advance about the requirements the other country asks. Remember that, in many European countries, the current animal passport is enough.
You should find out if the place you are staying allows animals. If the pet has a medium size, take an adequate cage so you can leave inside at any time. There are several hotels that only allow small pets, or with a determinate weight.
Previously, make an appointment with your vet, to check the pet. Take the medical history with you, if the pet have any issue that needs to be known by the vet in the destiny place; in case of needing medical assistance, you should have near you.
When traveling on a plane with your pet, avoid doing it with 8 weeks puppies, and not needing of breast feeding. Know the feeding needs of your pet. Several vet recommend traveling with and empty stomach. Your pet must travel in an appropriate cage. Make sure it contains enough water to have it hydrous.
Make contact and informed with the different airlines companies, because some of them may have breed and size restrictions. Others require a health certificate, done 10 days before the trip. Airlines use to limit the number of permitted animals per flight; when you make the reservation, do it for you and your pet, in that way you will avoid some problems.
If your pet is traveling in the aircraft hold, when the weather is too hot and sunny, choose to travel in the earliest flights in the mornings or in latest flights in the afternoons. In winter times, choose the noon flights, so you can avoid extreme temperatures.
