Many people around the world ensure that humans possess supernatural powers that are difficult to explain, among them we have: read minds, hypnosis or even to be able to communicate with people who have died. One of the most famous skills in recent times is the telekinesis.
The telekinesis is known as the ability of a person to be able to move objects with the mind, without touching it at any time. This phenomenon is studied by the parapsychology, a pseudoscience (called “false science” because it lacks a verifiable scientific method) which ensures that the human brain produces energy and when is released can be directed to an object and, then move it. The psychic Russian Alexander N. Aksakof was the responsible for make known this phenomenon and who gave it the name of telekinesis.
At the beginnings it was believed that the telekinesis was associated with the presence of spirits, ghosts or angels, moving objects in an attempt to communicate with people on earth; however, as the years passed it was discovered that some people could move objects with the thought.
There are many reported cases of people who possess this ability, but the most famous of all is that of the Russian Nina Kulagina; because this woman investigated by the Soviet Union during twenty years of her life, while she was recorded and with electrodes attached to her head to observe her brain waves, was asked to move objects with her mind, which she did.
She could move objects or make them levitate without any problem even she succeeded to stop the heart of an animal. Studies indicated that when the woman made these actions her accelerated heart reaching 240 beats per minute.
Something interesting that experts in the parapsychology say, is that any person may be able to practice telekinesis, just need to learn how to direct their energy to the object that they want to move, reaching a maximum state of concentration and completely relaxed; however, the constancy will be key in this, since in many cases can take years before you can achieve move something. Ideally, start with objects that are light as pencils, chopsticks or even grains of sand.
Although there are many people who ensure possess this skill and even have been recorded by themselves doing these activities, the scientific community does not accept the existence of the same, because there are no verifiable evidence that might explain this phenomenon.
Each person has free will and decides whether to believe or not in the existence of telekinesis. If you’re one of those who need to see something to believe, there are around the world thousands of videos, and tests on this phenomenon, but even if you’re not convinced, don’t worry because you will not be the only person.
If you feel adventurous try to practice it, who knows, you may discover that you have this wonderful ability, can you imagine moving objects with your mind?
