The stretch marks are breaks in the skin that appear in the form of linear or spiral lesions, whose length can vary between two and four millimeters in width. They are a kind of cutaneous scars which occur as a result of a deficiency of elastin and collagen in the skin.
These breaks are formed under a process that consists of three phases: first phase, which is when the skin is overstretched, but still does not break, therefore they are not visible and there is the possibility to reverse its appearance; the next phase is the inflammatory, which is due to the break-up of the skin, producing lesions in the form of linear bands, wavy, or curvilinear in red or violet color; and the third and final phase, is when the lines evolve until they are pearly white, with sleek and shiny edge around it.
Sadly, when the stretch marks are on the third phase, i.e. when they are pearly white color, it is very difficult to completely disappear and although you can attenuate them with creams or specialized treatments, as is the case of the laser, it needs a lot of time, money and effort, therefore, the most sensible thing is to prevent the emergence of new splines and eliminate those that still have potential as would be the red or violet color.
It is necessary that when you see in any part of your body some of these lines, immediately apply three times a day a cream rich in elastin and moisturizers, this with the purpose of regenerating the skin; avoiding their appearance, in fact, there are on sale many special creams for stretch marks. We invite you to avoid them, so we daily recommend, smooth all your body with a moisturizer and a body oil (although you have no stretch marks), especially in the hip area, chest, abdomen and top of the thighs, since they are the most stretch areas.
Preferably, you could spread the cream after bathing and wait a few minutes before dressing, in order to all the nutrients can completely penetrate. It is also very important to eat healthy with a diet rich in proteins and vitamins, without excess of fats and carbohydrates; few soda drinks and fried foods. Drink plenty of water, at least two liters a day, the more, would be much better, in addition, help yourself to take once in a while, a supplement of C and E vitamin, which work fairly well. Also, to maintain the elasticity of your muscles and skin is necessary to exercise constantly.
Don’t be afraid!, on the contrary, prepare yourself to act and fight against the stretch marks. The most important thing of all is your decision and attitude to them, following to the recommendations to avoiding them. Good luck!
