Katharina received the tiara from her husband, Guido Henckel von Donnersmarck; member of a German family, certainly the second richest in the whole country by the end of the nineteenth century. It was in 1979, when the family decided to sell such a valuable jewel; learn the secrets of this tiara:

-The Initial amount of the tiara, was around 4.6 million and 9.2 million dollars.

-The Tradition reveals that the emeralds belonged to the personal jeweler of the Empress Eugenie, who was wife of Napoleon III.
