Routines? No thanks. Of course it often happens, and when we stick to a schedule, everything seems to be a routine. When it becomes a daily system we can get exhausted, not necessarily physically, but mentally. It is something that wears us out over time, and affects our personal growth.
Strict behavior and lack of motivation come from the hands of routines that make us get used to monotony, and no longer be eager to learn and explore new things. Making small changes such as changing the basic route back home or going to different places can stimulate welfare.
We must not forget that personal welfare is born in our minds, and we must keep it active, by trying new experiences that free our thoughts from routine. This also helps fight stress, depression, and gives us security and confidence to face different possibilities.
Everything depends on how you behave depending on the circumstances you face. Find a hobby, a sport to practice, something to distract the mind and awaken the hunger for learning. That is why I want to show some tips leave the routine:
- Opening to new sources of knowledge and activities.
- Keeping flexibility in our thoughts, and avoiding extremes that close our minds. Be open to any possibility and do not discard changes before considering them.
- Keeping a pro-active behavior and a positive mind, which helps face changes.
- New friendships, different people who you can share knowledge
- Interact with your surrounding and integrate yourself
The most important thing of all is to look after your personal welfare. Exercising your body will bring you health, but exercising your mind will give you all the motivation you need to move on. Besides, keeping an active mind keeps you away from diseases like Alzheimer, and improves your quality of life.
