The universe is constantly moving, evolving cosmically, the moon moves, solar explosions and thunderstorms occur. All of them together influence the creation of the Earth’s magnetic field that persistently affects human beings. Inside our body there is also a magnetic field, which can be disrupted by any disorder our body may experience. In this context magnototherapy appears with its main applications as an alternative therapy to relieve, prevent or improve illnesses that at some point we could develop.
In the book of magnetotherapy written by doctor Fernando Ramirez y Escalona, he says: “The Magnetotherapy is part of the biomagnetism and it is advisible to the prevention and cure of diseases of living beings, whether they are caused by the alteration of the internal energy balance of the body or other causes.”
He also adds that when our body is affected by any disease or illness, “All this tends to modify the behavior of the human body, which thanks to its homeostatic or self-monitoring function it reacts to restore and preserve the dynamic balance state among the mind, anatomical mass, composition, metabolism, functions and energy. But when certain limits are exceeded, the homeostasis is not able to restore balance and then, the disease occurs.”
Appliances or magnets used in magnetic therapy create a magnetic field (electric charges) of low frequency and varied intensities by placing them on the affected areas or on the deficiency where the specialist so decides, and then the magnetic waves can penetrate the tissues and reach the internal organs or the circulatory system.
The scope of the magnetic therapy is broad, its main application is called auriculotherapy, or ear acupuncture, the difference is that magnets are used instead of needles. This technique is intended to complement weight loss diets. It is also widely used as a palliative for mild, severe or chronic pain in cases of arthritis, sciatic pain, fibromyalgia, sports injuries, back and neck problems, headaches, among others. It is important to know that in most cases the therapy does not provide a cure but it represents a great relief for the pain.
It is a helpful tool for physiotherapy, in carpal tunnel rehabilitation processes, injuries and muscle pain, and bone fractures recovery. In the healing and inflammatory processes the magnetotherapy is a good ally because it stimulates the regeneration of the skin tissue and promotes drainage where fluid is accumulated.
There are many applications that are attributed to the magnetotherapy and various types of treatments for every illness, but remember it is always advisable to consult your doctor before resorting to any alternative therapy.
I practice high-endurance sports and injuries can be quite common, so this might be an excellent treatment to avoid them
Very interesting to read. I hadn’t heard of magnetotherapy before, but according to what you say it seems to be a good alternative to prevent diseases and energy imbalances
