Fear and pessimism induce to maintain a cropped life vision, be isolated and moving only in the supposedly safer ground, to deny yourself, repeat rather than try and innovate, and ultimately, to adopt the philosophy of vision ” Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t.”, which in other words means “survive rather than live.”

In contrast, optimistic people and those living positively, enjoying what they have instead of lamenting what they lack, living the here and now, confident that things will go well and focusing on solutions rather than problems, they tend to take reasonable risks, new experiences and fight for what they crave inside.

Live positively, does not only contribute to be happier, but also enriches the imagination through various psychological and emotional mechanisms.

A recent Canadian study of the University of Western Ontario has found that happy people can think innovatively, better than what is sad, and that a positive mood encourages creativity. For the research were used a series of videos and music; in one case a piece of Mozart and a film of a laughing baby, and, on the contrary, the soundtrack of the film “Schindler’s List” and video-news of an earthquake. Two scenarios that usually cause relaxation and smiles, the first, and discouragement and unrest, the second.

Its aim was to induce different moods in the participants in the work, who was then asked to rank groups of pictures with visually complex patterns.

The experts found that people with happy mood could learn to classify better than those experience states of sad or neutral mood patterns.
According to the authors of the research the fact of some people watch funny videos on computer during work, could be attributed that people unconsciously try to “put in a positive mood.”

To live positively, enrich the imagination and maintain mental freshness, observe it is advisable to focus on what you enjoy, rather than what is missing or others have, which only leads to bitter, and inadvertently passing opportunities and joys of life.

You must open your mind to your surroundings because the mind interprets the circumstances and reality, consider options and make decisions, according to information you have. As larger is the record of experiences, people and ideas, the vision of life is broader, and greater the capacity to enjoy it.

It is also important to live each moment intensely, because waiting for things to improve or change to be happy in the future, it is one of the best ways to miss the present.
