Paraguay is a country characterized by being the perfect destination for shopping; in fact, it is the destination that tops the list of Brazilians when “shopping” is about, since it not only offers spectacular products, but also, the prices are wonderful, as if it were a dream. But nonetheless, Paraguay has many more things to offer, such as its cuisine that is based on delicious dishes made with corn, its music that is quite cheerful, the terere that is a perfect drink for a sunny day; and it also offers wonderful landscapes for you to live an unforgettable vacation.

Surely on social networks we have seen photographs of a street with a natural tunnel of trees, because this particular tunnel is located in the district of Santa Rita in Paraguay; and it is a path of approximately half a kilometer surrounded by a beautiful vegetation, being then a unique experience of contact with nature that we can only enjoy in that country.

Another of the tourist attractions to enjoy and know in Paraguay is Lagunas Saladas, which is a private reserve with an area of almost 5.000 kilometers. A classic of the place is to be photographed with the flamingos while we wait for a beautiful sunset at the edge of the lagoon.

We also have the Paraguayan Swamp which is one of the largest wet reserves in the world. Although Paraguay is not bordered by the sea and has no navigable rivers, this country contains one of the largest water reserves in the world, in fact when it is winter, the waters of the swamp rise and make an optical effect that the water embraces the trees.  This pink landscape is a great place to take photographs and generate unforgettable memories, as it offers a unique view. This is a natural refuge for mammals and birds, with which we can also enjoy a beautiful and varied fauna.

Laguna Blanca is another place that you cannot miss when you go to Paraguay, not only for being the only natural lake that Paraguay has, but, that the landscape is really wonderful. In addition it is one of the main tourist places in the country. The particular thing about this lake is that its sand is completely white, which makes it transparent, ideal for diving because it is more than 7 meters deep. During this destination we will also find a great variety of agricultural and livestock work.

As if that were not enough, Paraguay has the Kururu Kua Cavern, which can be traveled by kayak in small canoes. Taking advantage of this exuberant vegetation is an almost unique opportunity, because it was hidden until 2007; therefore it is a relatively new attraction. It is important to mention that this attraction is located in a private property and for this reason it will be necessary to coordinate all the logistics of the visit previously.

Undoubtedly, Paraguay is a destination for ecotourism, and its landscapes leave anyone breathless, wanting to know more each time and repeat the visit at every opportunity that appears.
