Located on the shores of the Bosphorus, a strait that divides Europe and Asia, we find with Istanbul, a city that has in its heritage the best of three empires: the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman, of which was the capital; what is evidence in the mixture of styles and traditions that coexist, to convert it into one of the most beautiful and visited cities of the planet.

Hagia Sofia: known by the Turkish people as “Ayasofia”. It was built as basilica and then converted into a mosque. It is now a museum, considered as the symbol of the city, as it has more than 1,500 years and its imposing structure is visible from any point of the city, highlighting not only by its four minarets and a dome whose dimensions are 56 meters high and 31 meters in diameter; but also by its internal decoration in which we will let ourselves be amazed by its beautiful mosaics.
The blue mosque: it is one of the most attractive and famous monuments of Istanbul; since that it charms its visitors by the greatness of its six minarets that invite you to enter, to contemplate an elegant dome central of 43 meters in high, decorated with more than 20,000 tiles, which owes its name.
Topkapi Palace: one of the symbols of power inherited from the Ottoman Empire, being the place where the Sultans ruled. The palace consists of 700,000 square meters, in which inside are four courtyards and several buildings exquisitely decorated, among which are: the archeological museum, the harem and an impressive collection of some of the most prized treasures of the world.
However, these are not the only tourist attractions with Istanbul accounts, since you still having to know: the Dolmabahçe Palace, the Grand Bazaar, the Galata Tower, the Galata Bridge, the Gulhane Park, Basilica Cistern, the Church of St. Savior in Chora, the Miniaturk Park, the Taksim Square, the Bazaar of the Species and a large number of places for which you will need a map.
But if you are looking for fun we invite you to know Üsküdar, a commercial area where you can find cafes, restaurants and nightclubs that will let you have a different time with a view of the Bosphorus. However, your visit could not conclude without make two more stops: the first, in the famous Turkish baths, as Cagaloglu and Çemberlitas; and the second for a cruise along the Bosphorus that will give you a beautiful perspective of the city.
