Feeling in love with your best friend is not always a good option; especially when it has not yet been proven nor confirmed with certainty that the feeling is mutual. It is a mistake to believe that falling in love with a friend is ideal for the simple fact that they are known, they share things, they are always talking to each other and they respect to have many things in common; let me tell you, that is not everything.

First of all, you should be sure of what you feel and it is advisable to locate good feelings: the appreciation, affection and love is a result of the whole friendship journey versus the possible feelings that have formed with regard to feeling love and passionate desire for this friend.

Have in mind that even if you don’t love him a lot, or if you highly admire him and no matter the utmost confidence you have, that doesn’t mean you should be in love with him. There is no doubt that a true friendship grows and those involved in it have develop a high level of dependence, trust and brotherly love, which are conducive to the arrival of trust, dedication and respect in the relationship.

A true friendship does not imply an engagement, not because they love as friends they should be turned into couple or the fact that he treats you very well and tells you his deepest desires and problems you ought to be engaged or because you like it. These are just common and characteristic acts in a friendship.

However, it is important to evaluate and consider every aspect that is given, as well as having the complete security that you have true feelings of love for your friend; then it’s time to tell you that you shouldn’t come forward yet with the facts, because you should also know and see that he shares this feelings with you, that is if it is a reciprocated feeling.

For that, you should take a somewhat daring attitude, you sure do! Dare but be very careful, so as to see whether or not he pays attention to your flirting. Promote moments alone with him where you can talk more comfortably and safely; the good thing is that you are already good friends so you can easily engage in a good conversation; furthermore, include physical contact: like a hug, a caress. As you go doing, assess his behavior with you, if he is won over with your actions or if he gets serious and evades you.

That will depend on you to decide, if you are about to declare your feelings or simply limit yourself to avoid spoiling the relationship. You must be confident before doing anything, remember that this is a friendship and a person that loves you so much; so it is convenient to be very wise, prudent and sincere about your actions. Don’t let emotions take control over you. Success!
