The importance of going to the bathroom is that it represents the state of health which is your body, so it is important to analyze the times you go to the bathroom to evacuate and all that this implies.
Mainly, to have a healthy body, this must be kept clean and neat, and there comes into play the internal cleansing of the body that occurs naturally. It is a process that starts from the intake of food and drinks, and ends with evacuations.
The point is that you should analyze personally and very seriously, as it represents an evidence of health levels in your body is. You must start the evaluation according to the smell. A healthy stool does not smell bad, in fact they are virtually odorless.
When there is unpleasant or foul odor, this may vary due to certain foods, but two situations may be occurring. One, that faeces are spending too much time inside the intestines which leads bacteria to produce gases that cause odor; and second, that the bacterial flora is insufficient or is not working properly.
Then it is necessary to note the color of the stool, because they must present a golden-brown color to conclude that it has a healthy color, from pigments that are gut bacteria and bile. However, it is important that the color can be altered according to the consumption of some foods of rich color.
If in your case the colors do not approach the brown-gold, it is important to be extremely careful. See a doctor if the color of your stool regularly presents black shades, this may be due to the accumulation of dried blood in the digestive tract or excess iron in the diet or consumption of red meat that blackens the stool.
The pale yellow or white, may indicate bile problems and/or liver, and a fresh red bleeding, possibly due to fissures or hemorrhoids. These factors are clearly not accurate, but having these symptoms consecutively, is a signal to see a specialist immediately.
The last step of this evaluation should be in terms of consistency and form; their feces must present a smooth consistency, but firm; moreover, should not present a challenge when visiting the bathroom. If, however, your disposal is in the form of pellets, watery or tough and dry, it could be due to health problems that should be solved by following the recommendations of experts.
Note: Evacuations must be frequent and abundant; if your intestines are working properly, you should visit the bathroom once or twice a day, but the ideal is to evacuate every time that food is ingested.
