Although in recent years there have been similar applications to this, the fact of that “Twyp” is supported by the bank; makes it more attractive to customers by the security and reliability in its operations.

The banks put long ago at the disposal of their clients, web pages that allow them to make payments and electronic transfers, cancel invoice of basic services, mortgages, credit cards and purchases of all types.

Its creator is the bank of Dutch origin ING and its launch was made in Spain, a country where it has several offices and thousands of customers. The “Twyp” application is available through “Apple Store” or “Google Play”, and for the moment the amount allowed for transactions in this way is 1000 euros per year or the corresponding to the change in another currency. Its objective is to promote the use of electronic money, especially if the sums of money involved are low; providing ease and convenience to customers.

The representatives of the ING bank in Spain, announced that at the moment will be only clients of that country who can make use of the application “Twyp”; but it is expected that it would soon be possible to use in other countries in which there are ING agencies, imitating other banks such as BBVA in different countries. If the application has success, it is estimated that it can achieve the greatest number of banking institutions by how easy, safe, effective and comfortable it is.
