We finally found the love of our life, that person who complements us and certainly makes us happy; every day we are more eager to see him, and sometimes do not want to be apart from him, we felt so well that we want it to last forever. Reality is that we love to be filled, but not only with joy and happiness, but also full, with a few extra pounds, because believe it or not: love makes you fat!

It may seem incredible, but if we stop a bit to think: isn’t it right we gain some weight that last time we were in love? Maybe a lot or a little but when love comes to our life, also brings an increase of weight. According to scientific studies, when women falling in love they may gain weight up to a kilo and a half, and when they het marriage up to four and a half kilos.

According to this, being happily in love with a steady partner means that we are more likely to gain weight, unlike to those relationships in which there is no harmony in the couple. Among the reasons for this rare event, some women who are in a solid relationship are satisfied, relax and cease to care for their appearance. Likely, there is a relationship between love and weight gain that is related to the change of habits due to their couples.

Therefore, when we are in the stage of infatuation, dinner parties and walks are more continuous, and usually it focuses on food, a romantic dinner, a delicious ice cream, drinks and evenings cocktails; and the sum of all this, is the obvious consequence of the gradual weight gain. Thus, we can follow these simple tips to avoid fattening in love:

• Don’t ask the same meal as your partner, besides not everything has to be pizzas and burgers, look for healthier options, and convince him to change his menu as well.
• Dates should be not focus on food, a walk in the park or going to the movies is also an option.
• Try some kind of sport with your partner and connect each other, you would be spending quality time together and also improving your figure.

Love might be fattening, but it is up to you to show your partner your true self. Although is true that love has to do with acceptance, we cannot be careless. Being overweight is not a good way to keep the flame of love sparkling, so try to stay attractive to your partner and love and desire will daily grow. Let love fill you with beauty not extra kilos!
