Wednesday, December 9th, 2015. Through Google we look for and find virtually anything. Now Google has launched a new platform which will allow you to discover new music and culture with very special features. Said launch has been roaming many countries, most recently Mexico. If you love both these pleasures, music and culture, we invite you to meet this wonderful new tool.
Through its new streaming platform, Google has created a new way to browse music and its name is ‘Concierge’; which allows you to enjoy your favorite music through your smartphone. The difference is that you won’t have to download it anymore, it will instead look for you based on your music tastes, habits and even moods!
This new platform was announced by Google Play Music manager, among its new features is the possibility to detect each user’s individual music taste automatically, drafting a list of tracks from it. The idea is that the user logs in the platform, is offered musical choices, alternatives and suggestions suited to each different situation, so that it can choose which one adapts better to your mood, whereabouts, circumstances and activities.
In other words, if you’re with your couple enjoying an intimate special dinner; ‘Concierge’ has already picked out a set list that, according to your taste, you might want to listen to. All downloaded and ready for romance. But don’t think it’s all technology, because behind this pioneering invention there are music experts, DJs and music trends (classic and new) connoisseurs, that have chosen over 35 million tracks, out of which you can save around 50 thousand in a Cloud of your own.
However, that’s never the end of it with Google. Very recently they launched a new technology which allows you to enjoy opera, ballet or concert, just as if you were in the middle of the stage, thanks to virtual reality. And all of this through your smartphone or home computer.
This breakthrough has been named “Performing Arts” and it’s already available through Google’s culture website. Can you imagine being in one of Europe’s most beautiful theatres, enjoying ‘Swan Lake’ at Carnegie Hall, in an opera with Berlin Philharmonic? Now all of this is possible, without needing to leave your home, with the new tech which also offers 360° of audio and video with just touching your smartphone’s screen or a click in your computer.
