In Japan was created a robot that thinks, writes and even journalistic tasks in a newspaper of that country are made by him. This robot-reporter is part of the “staff” of writers of a very known communication media and fortunately, at least for him, has no feelings; it has not been well received by its human coworkers, who see it as a threat.

And it seems that technology is gradually displacing humans, generating considerable controversy, till the point that in the future we might be leaded by thinkers, brainless, minds but with many wires and transistors.

The robot-reporter was tested before being hired by the newspaper and its name is Kuaibi Xiaoxi. It wrote articles related to the area of sports and business, in perfect Mandarin and English; which puts him in a higher position than many of its coworkers who only speak their native language.

But it’s not the only one, as another major newspaper in the country, published articles related to economic issues; whose source was obtained from data processed by a computer. This was criticized by analysts and scholars of that country, due to its unreliability; and like has been Kiabi Xiaoxi, who is seen with suspicion and even contempt by Japanese and Chinese journalists, accusing it of trying to usurp jobs that could be covered by professional humans.

This dilemma about the reliability of robotic hands and minds in jobs and tasks in different areas in the workplace, promoted a study by a recognized testing center in Japan and the University of Oxford, which showed that indeed what is seen is not encouraging for humans.

The study determined that more than half of work activities currently carried out in Japan, could be comfortably made by robots, which don’t get sick, don’t have problems, they don’t charge, nor die.

Nevertheless, they said that their use isn’t possible in all tasks. Those that require control aspects such as creativity, persuasion, negotiation and even the related arts; they don’t believe they can be performed by robots.

However, the issue concerned many people ; because although Japan is characterized as a country whose population growth is extremely slow. In other cultures and regions of the world, even in the most economically depressed, young people aspire to develop professionally. A desire that in any aspect could be combined with this robotic theory.

Technology has an important value in society, being positive in many cases; but also dangerous, especially if we ignore that are thoughts (reason) and feelings (heart); two aspects that robots don’t have.
