Using magnetic force to benefit the health and well-being of patients with different ailments makes biomagnetism and magnetotherapy common names that show how magnetic fields are applied for important therapeutic purposes.
It is an alternative to the traditional field of medicine called physiotherapy. Biomagnetism was discovered by Doctor Isaac Goiz in 1988. Magnetotherapy involves applying magnets of different poles to eliminate viruses, fungi, parasites, and bacteria that are the main cause of many dysfunctions and diseases.
As part of the theoretical basis indicated by Goiz, the specialist managed to identify, study, classify, measure and correct different alternations of the Potential Hydrogen, known as pH, which is what humans have in the body.
Following the reasoning that a healthy person has a level of alkalinity and balanced acidity, and our pH is equal to 7, Goiz established that when a disease occurs, it is because this level was affected due to a bacterial organism. Therefore, the next step is to establish a map of use for the pair of biomagnetic magnets, in order to restore the alkaline balance of that person.
This technique is used in Europe, North America and Latin America. Through a session of biomagnetism, it is possible to identify the most critical points of the body, so that light magnets of medium intensity can be applied for a period of 15 to 20 minutes. Due to the size and proposed strength of the magnet, magnetotherapy is said to be a harmless, non-invasive and simple, yet effective in treating ailments, inflammation, and also great for cell regeneration and healing of tissues.
Biomagnetism has achieved better results in the nervous, muscle, bone, joint and circulatory systems. So, the use of magnets of medium frequency can treat an infinity of diseases.
The interaction of the magnetic fields of medium frequency with cell activity has been one of the cornerstones in the recognition of the magnet therapy effectiveness. It improves the reception of nutrients by the membranes, it has analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, and it stimulates the transfer of calcium ions into the bones, benefiting cases of diseases such as osteoporosis. These are examples of the potential of biomagnetism.
Doctor and expert in magnetic therapy, Rosa Granadillo, adds that this technique “works by removing all the infections in the patient’s body, promoting healing and balance, resulting in a very beneficial treatment for certain ailments. It can be used in conjunction with any medicine or medical treatment. However, biomagnetism is a complementary treatment, not a substitute for medical care.”
I’ve been told that people who recently acquired tattoos shouldn’t take this kind of treatment… is that true?
