Many historians and archaeologists who wanted to find at least one piece that belonged to the last queen of Egypt, but this, was long believed impossible, however, because of extenuating searches made by archaeologists apparently this great dream has come true.
On an average day, experts have decided to search in an area of Siberia and what they found was something unusual; a necklace which is believed that once belonged to the magnificent Cleopatra. The garment was found filled with sand in the neck of a skeleton that have more than two thousand years. Although the body found by these Russian archaeologists, most likely is not the queen of ancient Egypt itself, they are sure that this necklace was from the period when she ruled and that belonged to her. The skeleton found is believed to be a virgin priestess, of no more than twenty years old.
The great uncertainty generated by finding in the excavations this beautiful necklace, can become a crucial part of history. This discovery was made some years ago, but because of its great importance, decided kept secret for a while. Yelena Borodovskya, is the name of the lucky archaeologist who found the necklace of Cleopatra; located in a mountain called ‘Altai.
The enigma of the necklace despite thousands of revisions made by specialists has shown no sign of its true origin; this is why it was kept secret for some years, but because no evidence was found; They decided to bring it to light with the intention that this call the attention of more specialists in the world and find out exactly its origin and whether it belonged to the Queen of Egypt.
The physical characteristics of the necklace have left more than one amused with its variety of colors: blue, white and earth. In addition to the surprises found along with it, a mirror and a bag of bones, which are believed to have been given as gifts. The archaeologist describes this discovery as ”the most beautiful finding she has done”, highlighting also that she have more than thirty years working on the area, but definitely the necklace is unique.
