For example, classic gold can be cleaned with materials such as effervescent aspirin, this product is very easy to use: just throw a couple of aspirin tablets in a glass of water, put the piece you want to clean inside the liquid and it will do its job. Leave it in, soaking for several minutes, and when you take it out, you will notice the excellent results, now if you want to give it a more optimal shine, you can rub it with a clean cloth.

Aluminium foil is one of the most surprising objects, since not many people know the power this element has to clean gold. Put a foil in a bowl, fill it with hot water and mix with a spoonful of laundry detergent. Proceed to immerse the accessories in the above mentioned solution and let them rest, after a moment, take them to dry off outdoors and they will be ready to be worn.

Another way to clean gold jewellery is by using ammonia, leave the accessories submerged in this liquid mixed with warm water, for ten minutes, then dry them and wear them! They will look beautiful. Number four is the vinegar, a product that anyone can have in their house and is a very good way to leave the jewellery as new, you should only mix it with baking soda for two or three hours, this process takes a little longer, because the vinegar does not have the same potency as the ammonia.

And finally, a method that has been a favourite for many years is to clean it with toothpaste, because they leave a layer on stones and gold that protects them from any damage. You can mix a little of the paste with water or simply spread it on the accessories with a soft bristle brush, this way you will see the abrasive power of toothpaste removing impurities from the gold surface without damaging it.

These are just five of the ways to clean gold jewellery, there are many more methods and products that will help you to make your jewellery look like new, although the best you can do is to take care of them and store them in a bag, so they will remain in perfect condition.
