Thursday, December 24th, 2015. This week drowned at least thirteen migrants, including seven children, in the Aegean Sea off the Greek island of Farmakonisi, the port police of the country last Wednesday.

Many of these children come shivering and blue lips, some have even required medical treatment for hypothermia.
The organization “Save The Children” (Protect Children) says that children who achieving the islands alive, are in danger. For example, many of them are separated from their parents in the registration process pathetic. Others do not even manage to sleep at night because they have no shelter or adequate shelter for the long cold winter nights. Therefore, this organization calls for safe routes for refugees to organize, and that many children do not die in these crossings so dangerous.
The Government and “Save The Children” say they are offering assistance to migrants. But unfortunately they aren’t enough, because every day arrive more and there is enough room to shelter so many people. In many cases, children have been sleeping in the mud, covered only with cardboard and freezing to death; situation goes from bad to worse as winter progresses. It is regrettable to see how from childhood infants suffer from the war.
