The American actress Kaley Cuoco posted yesterday on Instagram the pictures of the process to erase a tattoo she had gotten on her back; whose design was made to be a tribute to her marriage; the tattoo is the date in which the celebration took place.

On September 26th of this year, Cuoco announced and proceeded with her divorce, after one year and nine months, a marriage that seemed perfect. Her marriage comes after a lightning fast relationship, with the actor Henry Cavill (Superman), that came to a close two months into dating, when the actress decided she had met who would be her future husband.

After only 3 months of relationship, Kaley Cuoco decides to marry Ryan Sweting (28 years old), a professional American tennis player, on the date 31st December of 2013; this relationship, despite seeming rushed, was the right step to take as the actress said herself.

In light of her marriage´s failure, Cuoco decided to change her tattoo, tribute of the day she linked to her partner, replacing it with a moth, whose only meaning she says, is to perfectly cover the previous tattoo. The lesson to be learned is not to rush, or to make better choices when we decide what kind of art to place on our bodies.

These love spurs are infinite, in many other occasions have other celebrities had to correct their enthusiast gestures. One of the most famous was Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean) who had a simple ‘Winona’ tattooed, in honor of who had been his girlfriend in the 90s Wynona Ryder (Beetlejuice), and changed it to ‘Wino Forever’.

Angelina Jolie had a tattoo with the name of her second husband Billy Bob Thornton, which she decided to have corrected completely after her divorce. Much more outrageous is the famous Melanie Griffith tattoo, a heart with the name Antonio Banderas in the center, a design she wore on her right arm proudly but later decided to completely correct after her divorce leaving no trace of the tattoo.

As a lesson we understand that every choice we make about our bodies is important, since it can be harmful or complicated if it ever comes to correcting it. A tattoo must be art and have a special meaning, maybe of a personal battle or something that symbolizes a great deal to us. A face, name or any reference to our couple will always be a mistake, for love is like a spell that blinds us to reality.

Kaley Cuoco is known for her performance as ‘Penny’ in the comedy show The Big Bang Theory, in which she plays the role of a town girl that moves to Los Angeles and meets a quirky group of scientists. This series has given her endless success and ranked her among the most known actresses of our times. It is from her own experience that she advises us not to take love so seriously.
