In the middle of the Sahara desert and blessed by the waters of the Nile, there is Egypt, a country full of grandiose monuments, history, culture and mystery, which makes it a destination so surprising and magical, that it would be a sin not to visit.

For being located in the middle of the desert, in general, the climate is very dry and hot with temperatures ranging from 22 to 28 °C, although the nights are often cool, so it is advisable to bring warm clothing to avoid the cold. This territory is divided into 27 governorates or provinces, among which is its capital, Cairo. This city hosts between its lands: the historic Egyptian museum, the museum of modern art, the Cairo tower and the historic center.

Its gastronomy is very varied, as it combines the best of the African and Mediterranean cuisine, being its most well known dishes: the ful medames, the mashi, the mulukhiyah, the kushari and the fatta; similarly, when you visit Egypt cannot leave without trying some desserts such as: the baklava or the ashura.

Among the places and most popular tourist attractions that you can visit are: Abu Simbel, the Temple of Karnak, the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, the Temple of Luxor, the Temple of Horus, the Temple of Kom Ombo, the temple of Philae, the stepped pyramid of Zoser, the Mosque of Ahmad Ibn Tulun and the Colossi of Memnon.

However, there are also many other places to visit, so it will require a good planning, time, and possibly a tour guide, to explore them all; but the Pyramids of Giza takes the top prize, are considered as a honorary marvel, and the only one of the ancient wonders that are still standing.

In addition to visiting the pyramids and temples, is also able to develop other activities such as: diving and snorkeling in the red sea; the overflight in balloon through which you can appreciate the greatness of the temples such as the Luxor; the camel rides; calash rides; the whirling dervishes in Cairo; boat trips on the Nile river, or visit its shopping centers.

Another aspect to consider when traveling to Egypt are its hotels; in this sense, we can find ourselves with a wide range suitable for all tastes, ranging from the smallest to the most luxurious.

Among the memories that more buy travellers are the native objects such as: papyrus, djellaba, cartridges, perfumes, and even more daring and eccentric cannot say goodbye without carrying around a little bit of the desert sands.
