⦁ Keep them separately: To preserve the perfect shine of your jewelry and prevent scratching, you should save each piece in its original box, inside a soft bag or in a special jeweler. Mixing them could cause scratching. Moreover, keep your chains stretched and wrapped to avoid the formation of knots, and don’t forget to keep your silver jewelry in an airtight container to prevent oxidation.
⦁ Avoid chemicals contact: Any material -either metallic or non-metallic- can be affected by being in contact with regularly chemicals, such as chlorine, grease, perfume, detergents, creams, soaps, cleaning fluids, hair products and sweat.
Therefore, it is recommended to put your jewels after using perfumes, creams or sprays. Consequently, remove them before bathing, clean your home, or practicing a sport. Specially, do not sleep with your jewelry on!
⦁ Jewelry cleaning: It is recommended to clean gold, silver or diamond jewelry with a soft brush and a mild soap; rinse thoroughly with warm water; then, dry it with a soft washcloth. Pearls deserve special treatment because of their organic origin. Use a cotton cloth and few drops of a mild soap, rinse well and dry them carefully.
⦁ Stainless steel jewelry: Necklaces and watches should be cleansed with the use of a soft cloth and a neutral soap. Rub them carefully and avoid scratching the metal; rinse them with warm water and dry it with a soft cloth.
⦁ “Swarovski” crystals: Using warm water and a few drops of mild soap; rinse under running water and immediately dry them with a soft cloth.
