Traveling is a unique and pleasant sensation. We generally associate traveling with adventure, amusement and relaxation. Each time, more and more people are doing family trips, hitting the road and exploring new places together. Making family vacation one of the must anticipated events of all year. These trips help create family bonds and fill each member with more energy and vitality.
When this along waited time comes along the corner, it’s time to begin preparations. It all begins before departure: buying tickets, booking accommodations, requesting visa´s (if needed), buying seasonal clothing and packing. But, do you actually know how to properly fit everything you need in a little space? This is no easy task, especially when it comes to choosing what you need and what not.
Baggage
Your baggage plays a major role during packing. Frist, it must fit the mandatory requirements, choose the most suitable size. Secondly, the material of which it’s made is important. Those with rigid sides but thin body actually offer much more usable space.
Pre-Packing
It is best that you make a list of everything you want to take with you, this way you avoid any pre-vacation stress. Make a list of basic items and other items you would like to wear. Be realistic and take into account your baggage limitation. Don’t forget adding a first aid kit. Also, keep a small bag with medicines for headaches, fever or stomach ache.
Shoes
Another important thing to consider when packing is your shoes. These should be kept in bags so they don’t get dirt on your other cloths. To maximize space, place your socks and other small items in them.
Know your limits
Keep in mind your baggage capacity. If the airline says: “23 kilos”, then pack 23 kilos only! Weigh your baggage before going to the airport and make sure you’re not exceeding the limit.
The essentials
Never leave home without the basic, this might seem simple but it’s important and will save you the time of having to return home. Check again and again that you have your money, passport and, for the sake of your fellow travelers, a toothbrush. Keep all these close and in mind at all times.
Packing
When packing, place your pants and blue jeans fully stretched along the bottom of your suitcase. On top of these place your shirts properly folded, then use the excess part of your pants to wrap the items you places above. Underwear and accessories should go on the hollow side.
A luggage is a mandatory part of your holiday. Know how to optimize and forget about carrying more than you need. Have a good and memorable trip!
