Among its features it has shiny glow sliver-blue; this mineral always shows intense blue and violet hues, with more brightness and vividness while presents a variety of colors.
It is characterized by having a bluish or whitish glow called “adularescence” which until these days it continues seducing who admires and possess it. The more intense the blue brightness is, and greater transparency has, more valuable and higher is the price of this mineral.
In the spiritual and emotional field, the selenite plays an important role, especially with the purest and positive emotion: love. In some cultures say that this gem awakened tenderness and passion in lovers, hence the tradition of lovers who give each other this stones as proof of their love. It is used to attract love into life, or to solve problems between lovers who have argued bitterly. The Moonstone is considered the rock of new beginnings. Additionally, according to ancient legends, was believed by superstition and its particular colors that anyone who possessed it would get the divine influence. Also in the west, in ancient times, this gem was composed of small pieces of the moon, and its inner light would be the light of positive divinity, in fact, the strong belief in this, turned this stone very popular among the romans.
